My Serivce Learning Center Site.


For the past five weeks, i've been working at my serivce learning center which is located in everett at 112th st and 4th ave. This site is called Greater Trinity Learing Center. It is for kids from age 2 to 12years old and its open from Monday to Friday from 7am to 6pm. The greater trinity learning center is a site that provide education to the younger kids.
I go the site Mondays from mostly 4pm to 6pm when am from school. sometimes i also go there on other days to spend little exter time with them. when am at the site my job there is to supervise the kids or be a teacher to them, because they are there for us to teach them and whatever they dont know and sometimes play outside with them when the weather is nice. Most of the time am busy helping them colouring, drawing and reading. Inadditional i spent almost 2hours with them every time am helping them.
Inadditional, my visit to the service learning center has also serves as an experience to me like getting open to the young ones and sharing my knowledge with them which is very important. although i like working with kids but also in the past i dont really have patence teaching them especially who cant catch up to things really fast. since now i have been working at the Greater Trinity Learning center and spending time with them, it has teach me ways of been getting patience with little ones and this is also good for me. This kids have given me motivation in always getting ready to work with kids which i wasnt always useto at first, but not am useto it and i like it an enjoying it very well.
Inaddition to all what i said in the above paragraphs, i am ver delighted to be working at the serivce learning center and part of their programs. It si an easy work for me to do because it is full of fun which i really enjoy to do.

My service learning center site is at Greater Trinity learning center for children between the age of two to the age of twelve, and the site is located in everett. This site is really important and interesting to me because it helps me build relationship and have patience to kids. Its is really easy working with kids especially the ones under seven because they tend to do whatever comes to their minds first and they are just running around. My position at the site is not really specified but i work with anything am ask to do. At my service learning center i help the kids with their home work and help them read. most of the kids do colouring and i will also engage and help them colour what ever they want to colour. i also help them in readind too and sometimes read stories too.

I only go to my service learning center site on mondays from 2pm to 6pm, as for me the site is really easy because i dont do alot of things. last week was really fun for me and the kids because it was sunny and all the kids were out in the yard playin. I also played soccer and basketball with them and they were really happy that i did play with them. We were running around the yard in and out of the class until most of their parents came to get them to go home. at around 5;45pm all of the kid will be waiting for their parents to come and get them home and prepare for the next day. so this place is really a fun place especially when it is sunny. My service learning center site has given me some really big experience by leaning and teaching kids that are willing to learn something.

"Are you a Muslim?"
"I respect Islam,"Mortenson as Abdul lookek on, approvingly.
"Come up here,"Manzoor said, delighted, beckoning Mortenson onto the cluttered platform, next to a headless dummy, pierced with pins. "Every muslim must wash before prayer".

In this coute when mortenson ask Abdul if he would teach him how to pray, it was interesting, but it then shows what kind of a man mortenson is, he is open to everyone and is willing to learn. This helps him to develop in every culture and everywere he goes. He really knows his business and what he wants to do. At first when he ask abdul to teach him how to pray, i said to myself even if it was me he asked i would teach him and Islam also said anyone who is not a muslim and is willing to know about the religion, you have to teach him. This shows how mortenson is ready to learn.
